Theatrical Arts
CONCORDarts' Theatrical Arts program is designed to develop fundamental acting skills and knowledge, while encouraging students to exercise their creativity through movement, voice, games and improvisation. Students will gain confidence and presence onstage for their future theatrical endeavors.

Classes and Registration
Tuition, Fees, Discounts and Late Payments
Attendance, Absenteeism and Withdrawal Policy Absenteeism prevents a performer and his/her class from performing at their highest level. If the instructor considers absences to be excessive, a student may be excluded from performances. Dress rehearsals for recital performances are mandatory. Generally speaking, each recital will require one dress rehearsal. No refunds or account credits will be given by CA for missed classes. Withdrawals are permitted only with a thirty day notice and payment of any tuition due during that period. Class Cancellations If classes must be cancelled due to extenuating circumstances notice will be given via email to the addresses on file and notice will be posted on CA’s Facebook page. Any cancelled classes will be re-scheduled as soon as practical. Injuries Parents, legal guardians of minors, students and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury resulting from class activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during or after class. Parents alone are responsible for maintaining adequate insurance coverage to protect against losses as a result of any injury. Conduct Any conduct by child or parent that is considered in the sole discretion of the Directors to be unbecoming, such as disrespectful communication and not adhering to the policies of CA and/or the host facility will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from the program. Students under the age of 13 must be under direct adult supervision at all times. At no time may children be permitted to wander the facility or grounds unsupervised. Any violation of this policy may result in dismissal from the program. Damage to property caused by failure to properly supervise a child will be the parent’s financial responsibility. Care of Students CA, its staff and instructors, and Virtue Church and its employees are not responsible for providing care before or after class to the students. Late pickups could result in fees at a rate of $10 for each fifteen minute increment or any portion thereof. Please contact your instructor if you will be late to pick up your child. Note: Parents are not permitted to sit-in on classes. Promotional Use of Images From time to time, CA, or its delegates, may photograph or video/audio record lessons and/or recitals. Your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions grants CA permission to use any such image or recording of your child for any legitimate promotional purpose. Acceptance of Complete Terms and Conditions By registering your child for CA, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions. |
Frequently Asked QuestionsHow much are Drama classes?
$58 per month (9 months of payments, 32 weeks of instruction). PLEASE NOTE: Due to the limitations of our billing system, we will have to manually adjust your rates to reflect this $58 rate. This will take place prior to your first billing. Are there any additional fees? New CA students pay a $25 registration fee. Additionally, students may be responsible for personal items related to their costuming for a production. When do Drama classes meet? Homeschool Drama (8-18) meets Mondays at 2:30 Drama I (Pre-Teen) meets Thursdays at 5:00 Drama 2 (Teen) meets Thursdays at 6:15 Do I need acting experience? Absolutely not. All you need is a desire to learn. When do Drama classes begin? See the calendar on the left. When can I register for Drama? Registration for fall ends on October 3, 2019. Registration will re-open for winter/spring on December 1, 2019 and will close for the season on February 13, 2019. |
